Looking for a place to get involved in the Bluegrass Chapter? Here are some of the committees with which you can serve:

  • Landmarks of Excellence -- This committee plans the annual Landmarks of Excellence contest and awards banquet in conjunction with the Kentucky Chapter of IABC. 
  • Masters Council -- The Masters Council is a group of the most experienced PRSA members in our chapter. This committee develops plans to make the most of the expertise of this important group of members.
  • Media Guide -- This committe is developing an updated media guide to assist members in their work.
  • Programs -- This committee secures speakers and locations for monthly chapter events.
  • PRSSA -- There are a number of student chapters of PRSA at various colleges in Kentucky. This committee works to develop plans to better serve these student chapters.
  • Publicity - This committee writes news releases and prepares news items for our Web site.
  • Sponsorships -- This committee helps to recruit sponsors for the Bluegrass chapter's monthly meetings and the Landmarks of Excellence banquet.
  • Web site -- This committee manages the Web site.

PRSA Bluegrass Chapter

The PRSA Bluegrass Chapter represents professionals who practice public relations, communications and marketing in Louisville, Kentucky and the surrounding areas including Southern Indiana. The mission of the PRSA Bluegrass Chapter is to advance the practice and understanding of the public relations profession by promoting high ethical standards, professionalism, development of members, education, leadership, credibility and excellence.
